Estelle asked me to post a couple of my stories, here goes!

The first one, "His Little Obsession", I posted on my journal
page at the LJ. It's a short vignette from last summer. It's
about what would happen if the Eighth Doctor had two of his
favourites(chocolate & tea) in one beverage.

HIS LITTLE OBSESSION

Somewhere in an alien warehouse...

Fitz came into the console room. He looked at Sam.

"We've stopped. Again?"

"Yeah, he ran out." Sam rolled her eyes.

"Again?!?! Bloody Hell! That makes the fourth time this
week! Where's he gonna put it all? And how's he gonna
operate the TARDIS, if he's running for the loo all the time?"
grumbled Fitz.

"Yeah,I know. He's going to put Dr. Samuel Johnson to shame."
Sam sighed.

There came a clatter of boxes from outside the TARDIS. Sam
and Fitz were nearly bowled over as the Doctor raced past,
shouting,"Oh! Blast!" They laughed.

Sam shook her head, "I'm going to rue the day he discovered
chocolate tea!"

The End

I can see why the Doctor would go overboard with
chocolate tea-it's lovely. I've tried several kinds. So far,
my favourite is "Vanilla Cocoa" from The Chocolate Bar
in NYC.

Dr. Samuel Johnson was rumoured to be "a shameless and
hardened tea drinker". I don't know who would drink more
tea-him or the Eighth Doctor-or me! We three would be Holy
Terrors at a tea tasting convention! Laughing Laughing

Very cute, Catherine!

The only chocolate tea I've had is from Trader Joe's, but it's quite nice! Suppose he might stop by if he's having a tea emergency sometime? That'd be lovely, and he's certainlt always welcome! Smile

Thanks Nancy! I'm glad you liked it!

In the Health Food Shops, you can get
Yogi Tea's Cocoa Spice. That's very nice!
Carolyn Edwards introduced me to it. And,
if you get over to NYC, do try "The Chocolate Bar".
It's on 8th Ave. between Horatio and Jane in
Greenwich Village. They've got a good six or
seven kinds of chocolate tea! The Eighth Doctor
would probably want to live there! My favourites
are Vanilla Cocoa and Chocolate Chai.

Ooh, you know, I think I have had the Cocoa Spice tea, now that I think about it. My brother just moved to NYC, and even if he hadn't, I have plenty of opportunity to get there, so I will have to check out the Chocolate Bar--though I rather fear for my sanity--and the safety of my bank account--if I do!

Wink It's worth it, believe me! BTW-I'd LOVE to
see what would happen if Paul were turned loose
in the Chocolate Bar! Laughing Laughing

Happy Chocolate Tea-ering!

Thank you! Very Happy

Do try it! It's delicious! I really love The Chocolate Bar's Chocolate
Chai. They have a website and ship throughout the US-but only the
US.

www.chocolatebarnyc.com

There are lots of other places that do chocolate tea as well.
Just "google" it. I've probably just scratched the surface.

Catherine xx (I'll read your next installment tonight, when it's
cooler.)
