Paul and Nick Briggs:

And a somewhat pensive solo view:

Thanks Estelle! Why does it seem like Invasion was ages ago - and a universe away? I do love what that scarf does to his eyes though! Very lovely, very!

Doesn't he get a little warm in that leather jacket and outerwear though? On anyone else I would think that was a very weird look.

I wonder if he gets cold in hotels like I do ... I tend to wear my jackets inside, but I'm cold pretty much no matter where I go.

The scarf is lovely ... which I've probably said before, but it is!

I'm thinking it might be just a favourite look. He wore almost exactly the same outfit at Invasion 7 in March of 2007, except with a green plaid scarf. It wasn't cold in the school where the convention was held then, so I'll bet he just likes the look. Smile I can't believe he doesn't get awfully warm, though, bundled up like that.

Hmm, I'm noticing someone just behind his right shoulder in the last picture. Smile

I spy with my little eye! Is that our Michelle?

I like Paul's look (well duh) and I think I would like it even more with him posed beside his awesome vintage car - or a horse. Very Happy

Here's a link to a picture of Paul in his vintage Rover P5, the car he's had since Withnail! Scroll down the article and you can see him in it getting ready to leave the convention.

Lucky car! Very Happy

The ChicagoTARDIS 2004 hotel was quite toasty, and yet Paul wandered around warmly clad:

Methinks he needs a fangirl to snuggle with him and warm him up. *raises hand* - and I'm volunteering! Very Happy

Brilliant pictures. I was actually going to go to this, and wear my Seventh Doctor costume as well, and bring my Season 26 Seventh Doctor 12 inch figure with me, but Sylvester McCoy couldn't make it, so I decided not to go.
