This is the only show I have ever seen Paul in 'live'. An excellent play by Sam Shephard, co-starring Miranda Richardson.

I was living in London at the time Paul appeared in this, 1988/1999, so used to go and see the play (and Paul!) most weekends and often in midweek. One particular Saturday evening I was there with a friend (whose is a big fan of Mark) and she asked Paul how Mark was. Paul replied "he's fine, but why don't you ask him yourself? He's waiting in the pub round the corner, let's go" and proceeded to run, very quickly, down the street. Obviously his idea of a joke! I was lagging behind, but my friend (desperate to see Mark), jogged along quite happily, making comments like "It's a good job I run a lot isn't it?"!

Paul took it in great spirit and my friend got to chat with Mark, which left me having a drink with Paul! All in all a wonderful evening.

Which gets me to my point of this message! I am off into the loft now to find all my McGann stuff from the old days - pre-marriage and children. If I can't put up photos etc, I can at least put up programme notes and fan club stuff, so I'm off to reminisce......could be some time before I visit again Very Happy

I can't believe how young Paul looks in these - I don't remember him being that young at the time, how weird!

Brings back great memories though Smile
