Sure, I'll be right over. Confused

Actually, maybe I'll send my friend. He needs to get out to another show.

Could this be my chance to see Paul? Shocked
I hope nothing will go wrong and I´ll be able to go.
(Well, I´m a little scared, I´ve never arranged anything like that before...)

Sadly, I cannot hop the pond again that soon -- second-job and third-job commitments eating both time and money (new book coming out, doing a show in Richmond in April, emceeing a convention in June -- the latter two involve out-of-pocket hotel expenses that may or may not be reimbursed depending on what sort of mood the coordinator's in).

Bah, why can't the rest of the world just adapt to my schedule? Someone go do something about that. I'll wait over here. Mad

I'm already planning my next UK trip , and had decided to just save as much as I can anyway in the event that Paul would do theatre. Sadly a months time is no where far enough away to save and get more time off, unless I win the lottery Sad

Next time aye

I'M GOING!!! YAY!!!

I'll be there 2 weeks so I get to see a lot of other theatre, museums, etc. But Paul doing something on stage changed my plans from August to May. I've always wanted to see him do something on stage. I'll get to meet up with Michelle and Sam, too.

I'll let y'all know how it is.

You'll love him on stage!! What a fab trip! I'll wait for the next go-round, which I hope won't be a long time coming. My vacation time for this year is pretty well locked up with family stuff. If I can swing it, I'd love to go to Mystic, CT in September for the Horatio Hornblower con.

I might regret it if he ends up doing more theatre later in the summer, but, after reviewing it with the boss, May is better than August. I have too many big projects due then. Plus, July is booked with a trip to Mississippi for a 30-yr high school reunion.

Here's the link to the Sonnet 155 facebook page.

Photos are up from the first night's performance. Hopefully, there will be more. Smile

Our Scribs is quick on the draw, as always. ♥ I still curse my inability to be there. It is likely a futile hope that Paul will do another show that just happens to be around my 3-0 when I'm over again!

Ooooh, looks like it was simply fantabulous!! [Especially since, now that I've recovered and fixed my jaw back in place after oogling the pics for quite a bit... Shocked eh, um... yeah...]

Oogle-happiness aside, Paul looks most lovely, doesn't he? *sigh*

It was FANTASTIC!!! We were almost as close to the stage as the photos look. Paul came over to talk to Michelle before the show (and he even remembered me and gave me a big hug). He met us after the show at the bar and chatted with us for about an hour. In that last photo, I think, we were standing right behind him.

Oh, and weird moment. A woman came up to me before the show and asked "are you M Sandusky?" She was Judith, a lurker here on the Library and she recognized me from my profile pic. She and her hubby were very nice. If you see this, Judith, y'all should have come over after the show, we'd have introduced you to Paul.

All I can say is, like in Chicago, I was impressed with how accommodating he was with the fans, how nice he was. He even said to somebody, "We're ALL fans...everybody is a fan of someone else." He was so sweet to me and Michelle. of course, Michelle Harris, he's known for a long time, but not me (only since November). He really made me feel special which he didn't have to do at all. After each interruption, he always came back to talk with us. Michelle had to leave after an hour to catch a train home and Paul had to meet with his agent, so we called it a night. I did manage to find my way back to my hotel without too much trouble.
